Dark Sky Friendly

The Martinborough Dark Sky Society is a community initiative to protect and enhance the beautiful dark skies and natural wildlife habitats we enjoy.

Local businesses, accommodation providers and attractions support this initiative by becoming ‘Dark Sky Friendly’ Certified. This means they have worked with the society to develop a lighting management plan which supports our application to become an International Dark Sky Reserve.

You can findĀ  the registry of Dark Sky Friendly business, accommodation and attractions by clicking here, and you’ll see this sticker in their window too.

If you would like to become a Dark Sky Friendly business, accommodation provider or attraction please email darkskyfriendly@martinboroughdarksky.org.
